I haven’t written in my blog for quite a while. It may be due to lack of time or I may feel lazy – I don’t know which one. Recently, I looked at my old posts and realized that I’ve lost focus in view of my original idea. I planned to create a comfortable place where every jobs seeker could find a cover letter for the position he or she applied for.  And I saw that I had written too many articles explaining how to write a cover letter and what to include in it. Gosh, I’ve started sounding like a professional resume writer. Today, I won’t offer the next advice on how to write c cover letter or what kind of content to include in it.

I am offering to your attention the weirdest quotations from cover letters. They are original. They are funny. They are real. Please, don’t write such original stuff yourself!

“Achievements: I managed to graduate after 11 years of study in high school.”(Congrats to the author, he deserves an award!);

“I’m looking for a job as an accountant although I don’t have experience in the field. Please, don’t get discouraged to hire me because…”(Nice chap – purposeful, pursuing success with persistence!);

“I’m offering to your attention the top 10 reasons to hire me.” (Now, that really makes it easy on the employer to choose from. I suggest that the jury takes the pads and votes for candidates!);

“I am enclosing a rough draft of my Resume.” (good that it’s a rough draft instead of brute force so that the employer is not blamed for harassment on the job place);

“Experience: I fed, watered, and cleaned the family dog for many years.” (The person probably applies for a position in an animal shelter);

“I’m turning into a pitbull when making analyses.” (that one sounds terrifying!)

“I’m more experienced than anyone else you would like to hire.” (wow, that’s good self-esteem);

“I eat computers at lunch.” (Darn, that’s an expensive lunch. I usually go for sandwich and Cola!)
