Dear Miss Watson,
This is a letter to express my high interest in the vacant position of English Teacher, released on www.monster.com, ref.No 345A.I am seeking part time employment and I am confident that my knowledge, potential and wide teaching experience, coupled with some related activities provides a diverse background with much to offer to this post.
I received my Bachelor of Applied Linguistics’ (English and German) degree from “Columbia University”, in September 2003. Since then I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter.
I have also gained a large teaching experience, giving private lessons, mostly to children. I believe in teaching learning concepts in a manner that is easy to understand for them with all kinds of learning abilities and I have found that children respond to that with a great deal of enthusiasm and freshness.
In addition I would like to mention that I have a vast interest in social and child psychology which I consider very helpful. Although I do not have an academic degree related yet, I have gained a good deal of knowledge reading psychological literature and doing research works.
In case of more information needed, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I would like to thank you for your time and consideration.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Amanda Rouses

This hands down is the best cover letter from the few I have read so far. I simply love your word play and their context! Thanks to your creativity, especially in the first paragraph, I think I’m going to borrow a few of your words and put them onto my cover letter =D.
The only thing that kind of gripes me a little are the last sentences. It seems like you’re just dragging it out. Those last three sentences could have been compiled into one.
But, good luck regardless!!
Thank you Duke! This is my mission-to publish real cover letters,no bulshits! Please don`t forget to send me your cover letter when you finish.
Your cover letter will help other job seekers.
Thanks in advance!
