Dear Ms. Smith:
In your advertisement for a Store Manager in the December edition of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune you require operational approach, good communication skills and excellent grammar as well as previous experience with budget management.
Comparing your requirements to my abilities and skills I found that they make a very good match.
My professional experience starts in 2005 when I was working in the real estate business. After two years in the field I climbed up the ladder to a middle level manager in the Sunny Beach Real Estate Agency. There I’ve been dealing with surveillance of the contracts, was performing the formalities related to a sale from the clients communication to the notary’s office and was coordinating a team of real estate agents.
Three years later I decided to shift my focus to the commercial business since when I am working in a chain bookstore. Again I started as a vendor and consultant. After a year I was promoted to a manager of one of the bookstores. This step was followed by advance to a Senior manager of the whole chain with an annual turnover of more than 3 million. In my work there I deal with inventory, staff organization and cash flow.
The opportunity to continue working in the same direction would be rewarding for me. In this respect may we discuss how I can contribute to your organization?
I am forwarding my resume and am available at your convenience to discuss employment opportunities, and the possibility of relocation.
Thank you for reviewing my credentials. I look forward to our initial conversation.
Sincerely,
Charley Lee
