The Promise of Job SeekerSome time ago I promised to publish my cover letter that helped me take my present job. I don’t like declaring something and then not fulfilling it. That’s why today it’ll be published as a separate page in the blog. I don’t assert it’s the best example. Neither do I say it is an example that should be followed. I just keep my promise.

The second thing I decided to do was to make a separate page for links to other sites. I contemplated a lot on that and now I’ll explain why. For those who don’t know, if a web page goes to the top positions in the search engines, it most probably exchanges links with other sites on a similar topic. Believe me or not, I received letters for link exchanges, but by people who have nothing to do with cover letters and the job searching process.

I wondered a lot and searched for opinions in the net for the so called “link exchange”. And I said to myself: “Fuck the SEO, SERP (search engine rank position). What I do – I do it for people, not for the searching engines. That’s why I’ll make a page called “links+ 120 words”. There I’ll put links to sites whose owners found the time to write to me and ask for a link to their site.”

The third thing that I decided is to change the blog topic. I have some ideas for now, but still I haven’t come to anything definitely.

And at last I’d like to turn to the friends from Flickr. I hope they read the blog. Also to those that promised something, but still haven’t fulfilled it: “Do you keep your word?”
