I have nerve inflammation of the waist from about a week. I cannot stand, work or have fun. “You have to take a rest for a while!” said the doctor when he examined me. “I’ll prescribe a few injections, but the most important now is rest. You have to be laid flat all day so that the pain fades away. Don’t take any excessive load and soon you’ll be able to turn back to your daily routine.” he added before I leave.
After a few idle days (bed rest) I decided to write a few things about motivation. It’s a little uncomfortable, because sitting in front of the computer causes back pain, but I’d like to share a video with you that made me get up from bed.

I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. This urged me on to make a few things I was postponing for quite a while.
1. I started doing fitness again in spite of the doctor’s prohibition.
2. I took up with new things about the blog that I delayed from quite a while.
3. I found out that a man is as strong as his will is!
This is what pain did for me. It motivated me. That’s why I’m grateful to it!

I am furious! A few days ago I published in a forum on jobs my point of view about writing cover letters. Today, when I decided to enter again and see if there are any new opinions on the topic – ops! There is no topic! I immediately sent PM to the administrator and I am waiting for a response from the person responsible for this why he violates my right of freedom of speech. I even added a link to the first amendment of the Constitution of USA that reads:
Amendment 1 – Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” Read More→
As most of the families, mine also experienced the crisis. This week my mother lost her job. The company she worked for cut down on staff and she found herself in the list. She already picked a few job ads and I had to help her in drafting the resumes and cover letters.
She is one of those annoying old ladies who you regularly meet at the supermarket. The old lady next door who is always unhappy either because of the weather or the way you climb the stairs.
I’m sure that she’ll find a job soon, because a person who has faced death cannot get frightened of applying for some kind of job.
The Incident
It was the winter of 1998 and I was in my last year in high school. I thought of anything but the forthcoming graduation and school-leaving examinations. Read More→
