the key 300x204 The Key to the Successful Cover Letter Is… I have always wondered if there was a universal formula to write a cover letter. The Internet will offer an impressive number of articles, pieces of advice, and websites, dedicated to successful cover letters. However, can we find a simple, universal, and workable rule for all job seekers rule which can facilitate the writing process? I believe that the answer is positive. We call it motivation!

Many people will disagree with my statement. I will offer, however, several arguments related to the issue of motivation. I will substantiate my view and explain why I believe that motivation is the key to the successful cover letter.

Firstly, I would like to point out that motivation is the major driving force in life. Just think about it for a moment – something has motivated you to undertake an occupational change. The same is true if you decide to commit yourself to a diet, quit smoking, or introduce yourself to the beautiful babe who is looking at you at the pub. Everything we do is driven by some wish or longing, engendered by our motivation.

I am more than sure that motivated job seekers enjoy much greater success and write high quality cover letters with ease. Lazy and bored individuals do not fare as good in comparison.

I do not like low-motivated individuals with a high inclination to weep incessantly. Truly, I have some periods when I am suffering from the well-known disease “laziness”. However, I get well shortly. Usually, some sort of criticism, directed toward me, works as the curing pill. This acts as a cold shower. If someone tells me that I cannot manage with a particular activity, I put my whole energy and enthusiasm to challenge his sentence!

It is the right time to write a couple of articles on motivation. If your motivation is absent, you will find information on the various ways to get charged with energy for action.
