winner 150x150 Only the Excellent Cover Letters Bring to an InterviewI love to present things from a different point of view. Not the standard one. Today’s post is also the same. I asked a financial investor: “Why such a great number of people that want to start a business activity and look for financing, don’t succeed?” The answer was: “90 % have no business plan.” “What about the other 10 %?” I asked. The man smiled, glanced at me and said: “9 from those 10 percent possess good or very good business plans. In favorable financial and market conditions their business would exist from 1 to 3 years. People with an excellent business plan (1 percent) succeed and remain in business!” Then he explained that an investor finances not the good or the very good business plans, but the excellent ones!

Looking for a new job is very similar to the example above. The job seekers, who have written excellent cover letters and resumes go to an interview.

What is the difference between a good and an excellent plan? (a good and an excellent cover letter).

The excellent business plan is written from the investor’s point of view! This plan makes him believe in your product or service, understand your target market, the problems and the key business issues!

I think you already understood why employers like excellent cover letters. The cover letter shows those qualities, skills, experience and knowledge that actually… make a difference.
