When I had to write my cover letter this last year, I was scared in the same way as many job seekers are. I decided to subscribe to a couple of websites and bought several books on the topic. I`ve searched the torrent sites, search engines, forums, and blogs with all due diligence. I had a single goal in mind – to find the key to the successful cover letter.

I have always wondered if there was a universal formula to write a cover letter. The Internet will offer an impressive number of articles, pieces of advice, and websites, dedicated to successful cover letters. However, can we find a simple, universal, and workable rule for all job seekers rule which can facilitate the writing process? I believe that the answer is positive. We call it motivation!
The last couple of articles that I wrote aimed to explain the meaning of keywords in the process of cover letter writing. I do not intend to spread pieces of advice reminiscent of “What to cover and exclude from a cover letter”. I will gladly leave this task to the professional resume writers.
It does not really matter whether you are unemployed, just graduated from school/ got your master’s degree, or boast an extensive work experience. Every person possesses certain qualities and skills. We start to acquire them immediately past our birth date – like our first breath and first steps. This process extends throughout our lifetime. Regardless of good and bad events happening to us, we use our skills and abilities to stand up when we fall and to enjoy life when it offers us pleasant surprises.
