Dear Mr. Jones,
I am applying for the position of an Assistant that was announced in the Stevens Review on the 17th October.
In your advertisement you call for an applicant with strong administrative skills similar to mine. Having been an Administrative Assistant at Lambert Hospital, my main responsibilities included computer support, word processing and database, spreadsheet and the usual office work flow.
My main activities in the company involved equipment maintenance, purchasing, staff and volunteers’ surveillance and project coordination of the team, as well as of outside traders. The administrative work that I’ve been doing in the company required good organizational skills and attention to detail, without which the work couldn’t proceed smoothly.
As a good team player with excellent computer skills I preferred to follow an independent approach in my working habits.
I see that your requirements seem very similar to the five years experience I have gained. Therefore it could prove to be useful also for the position offered as it sounds like an exciting opportunity for me.
It will be my pleasure to continue working with projects and office organization as an Assistant. Thank you in advance for the time spent reviewing my resume and I would be glad to discuss any further issues on my experience in a time convenient for you.
